I heard back from Jabra and they provided steps which ultimately didn't solve my problem, but here they are for reference in case it helps someone else: Thanks for any help from the community or from Jabra! If I hear back from my support ticket I'll post that as a response to this post. The device is the Jabra Engage 75 Stereo purchased from Amazon in September 2020, and its firmware is 4.4.1. I'm using the current version (1) of Jabra Direct on Windows 11 21H2. Has anyone else experienced it? Is this a known issue? Is there a fix or am I stuck with an unrecoverable device? This happened during the day and I have to believe it's directly related to the firmware update released just yesterday. I then see multiple Jabra Engage 75 devices listed in Jabra Direct-one for the Recover and then one or more indicating updated/current devices. It does this five times and then displays only the purple phone icon. If I click that, it successfully completes the firmware "update" and then the base boots to the point where I see the expected green/red icons and connected to computer message then it reboots immediately (I hear the four tones signaling a reboot). If I open Jabra Direct, I usually see "Jabra Engage 75 FW Update" listed alongside a Recover button. The base displays only a purple phone icon in the top left of the display, which I understand means it's still in pairing mode. In a nutshell, my Jabra Engage 75 Stereo has become unusable after the March 16 update. I've reached out to Jabra support via the web portal but I'm also posting here since I know there's a Jabra Support alias.

Overall, IPVanish has a good list of features that keeps getting bigger and better with each update. As part of my review, I look to see if there have been any changes, or if IPVanish still deserves caution when choosing a VPN This caused consumers to question just how seriously the company takes user privacy, and it saw a dip in use and confidence as a result. On top of decent privacy and security tools, which have been independently audited, IPVanish bundles VIPRE, a good antivirus program, to give you additional protection against malware.Ī few years ago, IPVanish handed over user logs to the FBI. This VPN has thousands of servers worldwide with plenty in high-demand areas like the US, the UK, and Australia. Thanks to additional or improved security features, more unblocked TV streaming services, and an affordable new interface IPVanish, it's got pretty much every base covered. In our latest IPVanish review, the US-based provider showed some improvement, and is definitely worthy of being considered as one of the best VPN services. |
